Brasserie V is a casual, European-influenced neighborhood brasserie located on historic Monroe Street. The idea was borne out of the passion for the French Joie de Vivre we developed over years spent in France and Belgium, and combines our love of simple, unpretentious food paired with Belgian beer and noble wines. We serve lunch and dinner daily, and brunch on Sunday. We also offer an extensive rotating selection of 100 beers, including 50 Belgians, and 14 tap options. A full wine list featuring European and Californian wines is also available, all by the glass or the bottle.

Cuisine Description:
Chef Rob Grisham and his staff prepare our food from scratch on-premises, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. While we are inspired globally, we source locally where we can. Our signature menu items include Frites (double-fried in the classic Belgian tradition and accompanied with rotating aioli’s) and cheeseboards with outstanding local cheeses and house-made charcuterie Our dinner menu always includes Steak-Frites (featuring a 12 oz Flatiron steak), Moules-Frites (classic Mussels Mariniere in a white wine, shallot, butter broth), and Duck. The rest of our menu varies seasonally, and you will always find one of Chef Rob’s daily specials on the chalkboard.
